Q. What do you do?

A. We can deliver all kinds of marquee events from birthdays, to weddings to large scale corporate functions. If you have a venue or whether you are using ours we can just assist you with a marquee, or we can plan and deliver the entire event – we will give you as much help as you need. Q. Where can you erect a marquee?

A. A marquee can be erected almost anywhere although a flat, level, grassy site with good vehicle access is ideal and would be the most cost effective. It is still possible to install marquees on difficult sites however this maybe at an added cost. We will assess any site before we quote to ensure there are not costly surprises later on.

Q. How can you decorate your marquee?

A. Standard finish for a wedding marquee is a carpeted floor, windows, doors, white lining, chandelier lighting.
After that the additional decor opportunities are endless. Clients can bring in specialist decor companies, can provide their own decorations, or Holme Valley Marquee do have a selection of decorations e.g. bunting, LOVE Letters etc. We are happy to assist clients wherever possible in this respect.

Q. What about power?

A. If using our venue, the power supply is included in your quote. If using a additional lighting for your event we have extensions that can reach up to 50m. If you intend to hire a band, live entertainment or any other event feature that requires electricity, Holme Valley Marquees can organise this for you if you wish.

Q. What are the lights like?

A. Our standard lighting consist of 18 spoke chandeliers for the inside and fairy lights running around the marquee exterior. For weddings we usually include the fairy light back drop as standard. However, if you have a lighting plan or idea please let us know as we accommodate a wide variety of lighting.

Q. How many guests can I accommodate in a marquee?

A. This all depends on what type of event and marquee/ten are you hiring. Contributing factors on capacity can be seating, dance floors and/or bar areas. The best thing to do regarding guest numbers is contact us with details of the event you wish to put on.
